DOWNLOADING YOUR CARD FILES

Corjl allows you to download your card in two different formats - a single 5x7 inch file or as an 8.5x11 inch sheet with two cards per sheet. Which one should you choose? It depends on where you'll be printing your card or if you'll be sending your card digitally.

WHAT SETTINGS DO I CHOOSE WHEN DOWNLOADING MY CARD FILES?

The file download settings vary by how you will be printing or if you will be sending your card digitally. Below we've shown you the exact settings to select on the download screen for every type of printing or sending digitally. This is exactly how your download screen will look in Corjl.

DOWNLOADING A SINGULAR JPG FILE

A singular 5x7 inch JPG file is best for

  • professional printing
  • printing as a single sided photo paper card
  • sending digitally via email, text, or social media
  • sending via an e-card site

Choose the file settings shown at left when downloading a singular JPG file. Corjl will download each page of your card design separately.

Only select the "show bleed" option for professional printing on cardstock. "Bleed" is the extra 1/8" around the perimeter of the card that gets trimmed off during cardstock printing.

DOWNLOADING A PDF FILE FOR MULTIPLE CARDS ON A SHEET

This format is preferred for printing at home or as color copies at an office supply store or some local print shops.

Choose the exact settings shown at right to download your card files as a PDF.

CAN I DOWNLOAD BOTH OPTIONS?

Absolutely! Many clients send a few printed invitations and some digitally as well. You can also download slightly different versions of your card - such as for graduations. Download the graduation announcement version of your card and edit your template for a second version that is a graduation invitation. So you'll have the same card design but with slightly different text for multiple recipients.
