With graduation season upon us AND the launch of the new (and improved) website, what better time to offer free graduation printables?

Your Open House celebration can still be simple with the free printable graduation banner and cupcake toppers. The files are formatted for printing on standard 8.5x11 inch sheets of cardstock and can be printed at home or your local Staples, Office Depot or Staples. Simply upload the files to their copy and print services online or save to flash drive or memory card and take in-store to print on their laser printers. I was able to print the entire banner and a page of 12 cupcake toppers at Office Depot for under $5 and they were ready to pick up in under 45 minutes!

Assembly is just as simple. The cupcake toppers require a 2" circular scrapbook punch, which can be found at a craft store and either toothpicks, wooden skewers or lollipop sticks to insert them into your cupcakes. If you're really feeling creative, the toppers can also be printed on full-sheet adhesive sticker paper and used as envelope seals for your invitations and thank you notes.

The banner contains 5x7 inch panels to spell "Class of 2015". The panels print 2-per 8.5x11 inch sheet. Banner assembly is easy: cut out the panels, punch holes in the upper left and right sides of each panel, and string them together. In this case, I used some raw twine that I had lying around, but ribbon also works well. If you're in a rush, you can also use clothespins to pin the panels to a piece of string or tape them to a wall.

The banner panels can be strung together into one long banner (gold end panels are included but not shown) or you can create a two-tiered banner as I have done above. This is great for smaller spaces or taking up empty space behind the buffet.

New: Trendy Chalkboard Wedding/Bridal Shower Invitation

By Amanda Mackell
on February 24, 2013

Yes, it has been nearly two months since the last blog post, but with good reason: business as been B.U.S.Y.! Even working weekends, it has been difficult to catch up. Over the past few days I've managed to add a few new wedding shower invitations to the website, including my favorite design EVER. Yes, EVER.

Keeping with the trendy chalkboard theme, this wedding shower invitation offers beautiful hand drawn flower blooms (just to clarify: I did NOT draw the flowers), a ribbon detail, and a series of popular fonts. Better yet, this design is also available in a soft blue color or a lavender color to coordinate with a variety of bridal colors.

As a bonus, there are also advice cards, thank you notes, and recipe cards to coordinate with this wedding shower theme. More on these items coming soon!

Free Printable Rainbow Gift Tags

By Amanda Mackell
on December 17, 2012

Can someone please tell me where the month of December has gone? Seriously...I swore last December when I was sitting in a hospital bed working on holiday card orders while recovering from a sudden appendicitis that this year would be different-- that I would be organized, on top of my game, and have plenty of free time to do all of those fun holiday things that we've missed during the past few years. Has it happened? Nope. There's always next year. In the mean time, while I was tackling the pile of gifts to be wrapped I realized that I failed to stock up on gift tags. Since I'm too lazy to drive to the store for just tags, why not just print some that I had created last year? And of course I have to share. These bright and colorful tags are a fun addition to any package! Click on the image below to download and print on standard 8.5x11 inch stock.

Free Download: 3.5" Holiday Gift Tag

By Amanda Mackell
on December 02, 2012

In past years I've found it difficult to locate larger sized tags to pin on homemade holiday goodies. The newest freebie, our 3.5" gift tags offer a solution to this problem. With a red and white color scheme, herringbone background and lots of fun fonts, these tags work great on large Mason jars, boxes, or bags. I've printed mine on cardstock and adhered to the jar, but print on sticker paper or tying the tags with twine would be nice as well. The white block on the tag leaves ample space for writing your name.   Download the tags in a PDF format here or by clicking on the image above.

Holiday Decor "Pinspiration"

By Amanda Mackell
on November 28, 2012

With December only a few days away I've been hitting Pinterest for some new and clever decor ideas. There are so many wreaths I'd like to make, but I do only have one door that anyone would see it on, and then there are the ornaments, paper trees.... you get the idea. Here are a few of my absolute favorites so far: This dried fruit wreath made from orange and lemon slices. Fragrant, and it steps away from the traditional red/green decor.

An adorable paper tree advent calendar- use solid cardstock and decorate or use patterned scrapbook paper.

Another advent calender using... Dixie Cups! I love the colors used in the sample.

Photo Christmas wish list ornaments. This is a great idea to preserve Christmas memories and for your children to look back on when they were older to remember what they asked Santa for that year.

This adorable DIY cake plate would make any holiday treats taste even more delicious.

Ahoy mateys! Our pirate and mermaid themed joint birthday invitation solves that troublesome issue of finding a theme for a boy-girl birthday party. Whether twins, or siblings with a few years apart, the pirate and mermaid theme appeals to a wide range of ages.

The two smaller photos on this birthday invitation can be removed to feature only one larger photo of the birthday boy/girl. The pirate and mermaid joint birthday invitation can be found on our website here.

Back from vacation and our newest family member

By Amanda Mackell
on August 13, 2012

Things have been a little slow around here as we have been on vacation for the past 2 weeks visiting with our families in Maine. We head there in the summer to not only visit, but to escape the heat and humidity here in Maryland and to enjoy the Maine beaches.

This year our visit also included picking up the newest 4-legged addition to our family. Meet Sadie, the 8 week-old silver lab:

Look at that irresistible little face and those eyes!

Yes, we're completely in love with her, and she's as sweet as she looks.

New Joint Twin Birthday Invitations: Sibling Celebration

By Amanda Mackell
on July 27, 2012

In an effort to expand the joint-twin birthday invitation selection, I've added the following new design, titled "sibling celebration". Available in a boy-girl, boy, or girl format, the design is shown in three choices below. As with any of our invitations, colors and fonts can be altered upon request.

Modern Housewarming Invitations: New Designs

By Amanda Mackell
on July 21, 2012

Per request, we've added two new modern housewarming invitations to our product line:

The "Bulletin" design uses a combination of fonts, a faux-textured background, and bold blue banner to create a simple, modern invite.

And our "Across the Map" invitation is based upon the popular state silhouette prints. A silhouette of the United States is the center of the invite, with a moving van and a heart marker placed on our location. The soft turquoise, coral and cream color scheme offers a bit of fun while the striped background, "we've moved!" banner and combination of fonts add a vintage-y element. All of these come together to form a unique, modern housewarming invite. Either of the above designs can be customized with alternative fonts, wording and color schemes upon request. The housewarming invitations can also be used for a moving celebration or moving announcement (provide your new address instead of party details). Both invites can be found on our website.
